Lunar Rites

Lunar rites are well known throughout the time and spiritual circles as an opportunity to connect, capture and focus energy to assist in one's betterment. The 28 day cycle when concentrated upon with awareness as to its true esoteric meanings throughout the 12 month cycle within the year create a platform for a progressed development.

It was Dion Fortune, who said, if you work closely with these cycles of new moon to full moon, keeping a journal of your experiences, you will have yield a body of knowledge fulfilling the ancient dictum of Delphi, "Know Thyself".

What we often miss is staying power, and the ability to see the seamlessness and continuity of our experiences, instead seeing our experiences as series of unrelated experiences.

It is our intention through these groupings of Gatherings (where we will set our intentions for the new moon), and Full Moon Ceremonies (where we will work with the power of celestial energies that will open to us), we create a strong personal and group consciousness building into this most important gateway year of 2012.

Please note that during inclement weather we commit to doing the rituals individually at home ideally at the same time.

Ceremonial garb is necessary. If none is available to you, then wear a white shirt, white skirt/pants or a long white long dress.
